In addition to various cold salads with potatoes, a macaroni salad like this will enrich and make any table more diverse. It is quick to prepare, very tasty, light and goes well with any baking.
You’ve probably already made or tasted a similar macaroni salad, but try this recipe and you won’t regret it.
In everyday use, the name macaroni has become common for all pasta in a cylindrical shape, we even call fussili twisted macaroni, let the Italians and connoisseurs not blame us.

Salad with Macaroni
Ingredients
- 250 g of macaroni
- 100 g of ham
- 150 g of Trappist or other hard cheese to taste
- 2 eggs
- 4 pickles (medium)
- 2 dl of sour cream
- 2 dl of mayonnaise
- salt as needed
- oil
Instructions
Pour water into a large pot and when it boils add a little salt and a few drops of oil
Add the macaroni and cook for 7-8 minutes from boiling again
Drain the liquid and let it cool
Hard-boil eggs, cover with cold water and peel
Dice the ham and cucumbers, and coarsely grate the eggs and Trappist
Place macaroni, ham, Trappist, eggs and cucumbers in a suitable bowl
Pour over mayonnaise and sour cream and gently mix everything together
Taste and add salt if necessary, then cool and serve wit
