Ingredients
- 1.5 kg of quince
- 400 g of sugar
- 1.70 l of water
Instructions
Wash the quinces, peel them, and cut them into pieces.
Place the quinces and sugar in a large bowl of water and bring to a boil
Reduce the heat and cook gently for another 30 minutes until the fruit is soft
Stir occasionally
Cover the colander with cheesecloth and place it in a large bowl
Pour the contents of the container into a colander and leave to drain overnight
Pour the juice into the pot and let it boil. Then, if desired, add a sachet of preservative
Pour the juice into prepared sterilized bottles
