Many times I have already found myself in a situation where I have to quickly prepare a good snack that will be to everyone’s taste. This is usually when unexpected guests arrive and there is not much time available. In such a situation, all we need is a proven and simple recipe for a nice snack, and a pizza roll made of ready-made crusts is an excellent choice that can always be easily made.
This finger food for every situation is made from ready-made crusts and foods that you always have in the fridge. When you eat this fine roll, it resembles a real pizza, with which it shares most of the ingredients – of course, with the exception of the dough, since the crusts are involved here – so everyone will like it because of its distinctive taste.
Each roll requires six crusts, which we fill with a number of ingredients such as cooked ham (you can also use another, but in my opinion, it gives the best taste), cheese, ketchup, and oregano. There is also an egg and sour cream coating filling that is applied in several layers and gives an excellent and rich taste, which will make you always happy to make this pizza roll from ready-made crusts.
Including baking, this pizza roll does not take more than 45 minutes, and the result is always such that it will always disappear in an instant. You can’t fail to enjoy this dish, and the nice crunchy snacks will go well with any conversation and gathering.
Pizza Roll
Ingredients
- 12 pieces of ready crusts
- 400 g of cooked ham
- 300 g cheese
- 200 ml of ketchup
- dried oregano
- Fill for coating:
- 4 eggs
- 200 ml of sour cream
- salt to taste
- Ornamentation:
- sesame seeds
Instructions
First, you need to prepare the filling for coating
Add eggs to the container with sour cream, add salt and mix everything with a whisk
Cut the ham into smaller pieces, as well as the cheese
Separate 6 crusts for the first roll
Place two crusts on the base
Put 3 tablespoons of filling on them and spread it well
Cover with one crust that is coated with half of the ketchup and sprinkled with oregano
Cover with a new crust, and cover it again with 3 tablespoons of filling for coating
Spread the ham evenly over the filling and cover it with a new crust
Now arrange half of the cheese, and cover with the last crust, which is spread with 4 tablespoons of the egg and sour cream mixture
The roll should be rolled very carefully: first, the edges on both sides are folded, and then carefully the central part of the crust
Transfer the wrapped roll to a baking tray covered with baking paper
Make the second roll in the same way
Before baking, coat the roll with a mixture of egg and sour cream and sprinkle with sesame
The rolls are baked in an oven heated to 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes
After baking, cut the warm roll into pieces 2 centimeters thick and enjoy
