The holidays are prime season for dips and all sorts of little morsels made to be munched in a single chomp like today’s mushroom puff pastry bites. Puff Pastry is salvation for all of us, on the other hand, this is the best dough for me when I don’t have a lot of time.
Mushroom puff pastry appetizers are quick and simple dish that disappears quickly. The ideal Bite Size Appetizer for gatherings with family or friends. These bite-sized puff pastry morsels with mushrooms are ideal as finger food. I even freeze them so I may serve a fast snack to unannounced visitors.
It’s the season to enjoy fellowship, cheer, and, most particularly, appetizers. Let’s celebrate by popping a couple of Mushroom Puff Pastry Bites into our mouths!
Mushroom Puff Pastry
Ingredients
- 1 package of puff pastry
- 2 trays of mushrooms, about 500 gr
- 1 head of onion
- 3 price of garlic
- Pepper to taste
- Cheese 200gr
Instructions
Wash the mushrooms well and chop them
Fry in a little oil with finely chopped garlic and onion
Add dry spices and pepper to taste and fry until the water from the mushrooms evaporates
When it's done, add finely chopped parsley and fry for another minute or two
Roll out the dough, and distribute the mushrooms evenly
Roll up the grated cheese on top, nice and tight, and cut it to a thickness of about 3 cm.
Arrange on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a heated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown
