
Metropol is another nice salad with a sonorous name (unfortunately, I don’t know the origin of it), which will certainly delight guests and your loved ones, and it is easy to prepare.
Only the individual ingredients are cooked, chopped, poured and mixed. You don’t even have to strictly follow the measures listed below, adjust them according to your taste, as I did without fear of spoiling the overall impression.
In terms of composition and taste, it might remind you of another salad, but Metropol salad is something very special. After all, see for yourself the following recipe that is in front of you to start with.
Metropol Salad
Ingredients
- 4-5 medium potatoes
- 2-3 carrots
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 leek
- 150 g of turkey breast
- 180 g of sour cream
- 150 ml mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Boil potatoes and carrots in salted water in separate containers, drain and peel.
Boil the eggs separately (put them in cold water, then cook for 7 to 8 minutes from the moment of boiling, then pour cold water over them), and after cooling, peel them too.
Wash the leek, clean it, then cut it into rings.
Add salt and let it stand for half an hour.
Cut the salami, potatoes, carrots and eggs into cubes, put them in a suitable bowl, and then add the leeks.
Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard and salt, then pour it over and gently mix everything so that it permeates nicely.
Cool and serve with barbecue or other baking, and you can also consume it on its own.
