First of all, meatballs prepared in this way are extremely rich and full of flavor. It is important to me that the meat is of good quality, and that the tomato sauce is thick and with a lot of character because that is when all the flavors are best permeated and give the special taste that these delicious meatballs have.

No matter what recipe I use to prepare them, I always serve meatballs in tomato sauce with mashed potatoes because they go best with this dish as a side dish, and I believe it’s the same with you. Of course, maybe it’s because I learned this combination in my childhood, but there’s no doubt that it goes well together.
