Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • 70 g of ground walnuts
  • 120 g of butter at room temperature
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g of sharp flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of baking powder
  • For the filling:
  • 2.5 dl of sweet cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 spoons of sugar
  • 200 g of chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 3 bananas
  • For sprinkling:
  • 50 g of chocolate

Instructions

Mix flour and ground walnuts with baking powder and salt,

Add the butter cut it into pieces and crumble it with your fingers.

Add sugar and beaten egg to the mixture

Knead the short dough

Wrap the dough in transparent film and let it rest in the freezer for at least half an hour

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased pie pan

Remove excess dough and prick with a fork

Cover with baking paper or fill with beans or a ceramic container.

Bake in a heated oven for about 30 minutes at 180ยฐC.

Cool down.

CREAM:

Put the sweet cream in a bowl and cook until it boils

When it boils, turn off the heat and cover it with a lid.

In another bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar with a mixer until the mixture becomes light

Turn on the heat again under the bowl with cream and add spoonfuls of cream to the egg and sugar mixture

Pour the heated mixture of eggs and sugar into the rest of the cream

Cook on low heat for about 3 minutes until it starts to thicken

When it thickens, remove from heat and add butter and chopped chocolate

Cool to room temperature

Slice the bananas and arrange them on the dough

Pour over the cooled cream and decorate with chocolate

Cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving
