Are you ready for the best chocolate donuts ever?
This recipe is easy to make and gives a very indulgent little treat! Make it once and you’ll never use a different donut recipe.
I’ve been cooking these handmade doughnuts since I was a little child using a traditional recipe. Making them usually makes me feel really sentimental.
I also added cherries. They are so incredibly soft and tasty.
Chicolate donuts with cherries
Ingredients
- 3 eggs room temp
- 150g of melted butter
- 150 ml of milk
- 300g of wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 100g of sugar
- Cherries
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa
- Icing:
- chocolate 100g
- 1 tablespoon of dissolved coconut oil
- Break the chocolate into smaller pieces, add oil and dissolve in water.
Instructions
All ingredients in a bowl, mix only until ingredients are combined.
Pour the dough with a confectionery sleeve into a silicone mold for donuts up to 3/4 of the height.
Put the halves of the cherries into each donut.
Bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for about 20 min.
Cool on a wire rack.
Dip each donut in chocolate and put it on a wire rack.
