Banoffee pie is an English delicacy consisting of sweet cream, bananas, caramel and a crust of crushed biscuits and butter. The unusual name of the famous candy comes from the words “bananas” and “toffee” and points to its essential feature – a combination of bananas and caramel. Banoffee Dessert in a glass
Ingredients
- 1-2 bananas
- Lemon juice
- Caramel sauce
- For the biscuit base:
- 115 g oat or wholemeal biscuits of your choice
- 2 spoons of brown sugar
- 55 g of butter
- For the white cream:
- 2.5 dl of sweet cream
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
Instructions
Biscuit mixture:
Crush oat or wholemeal biscuits with brown sugar.
Add butter and make crumbs,
Collection procedure:
At the bottom of each glass, put two tablespoons of the biscuit mixture.
Apply some of the caramel sauce.
Arrange the banana rings. Tip: Spray the bananas with lemon juice to prevent them from darkening.
Beat the sweet cream, then add powdered sugar and mix gently.
Fill a piping bag and squeeze the whipped cream over the bananas.
Repeat the process once more to fill the glasses.
Cool the dessert well, decorate it with pieces of biscuits and bananas, sprinkle with grated chocolate, serve and enjoy.
