Baking the meatballs in the oven is simple and makes clean-up a breeze. You can use a piece of parchment paper to line a baking sheet before lining the meatballs up and baking them.
This is our go-to meatball recipe. It’s quick to make, calls on ingredients we always have on hand, and the recipe guarantees juicy, tender, and flavorful meatballs. The ground meat you use is up to you! This recipe will work with beef, pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, or any other ground meat you have access to.
Softy Meatballs
Ingredients
- 600-700 grams of ground beef of medium fat
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- a little butter
- half a cup of breadcrumbs or 3-4 slices of breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons of chili paste
- half a bunch of parsley
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tomato
- Salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, sweet ground pepper
- If the minced meat is lean, you can add a little oil or olive oil (not dry because it will be cooked in the oven)
- 1 egg.
Instructions
First, grate the onion in a deep bowl and squeeze out the excess juice.
Then grate the garlic.
Add breadcrumbs, egg yolks, salt, spices, and minced meat, and mix well. In the end, add chopped parsley and mix well.
While kneading, add a little water and if it is mixed well, it will be so good. It is even tastier if prepared a day in advance.
Take the rest of the meatball and give it the shape you want and place it on a baking sheet with greaseproof paper.
With the help of a brush, pour a little oil and bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
