Savory muffins with ham, cheese, and pickles are one of those tried-and-true recipes that anyone can make. They are prepared in just half an hour, they taste great, and there is absolutely no chance that they will fail. In addition, they are made really simply from ingredients you always have on hand, so there is no excuse not to try them and enjoy their taste.

Salty Muffins

The last few recipes I published on the blog were a little more oriented toward savory dishes and snacks, so it must be that I really wanted them. Maybe it’s also the fact that I prepared a little more of them during the pandemic when we didn’t leave the house that much, and these excellent salty muffins are one of those snacks that you can make all the time due to their simplicity.

The version with ham, cheese, and pickles is a classic choice since most of us will always find these foods in the fridge. But you can adjust the ingredients and put whatever suits you, so instead of cucumbers in these months when they are in season, I often use sliced โ€‹โ€‹fresh peppers. Only your imagination is the limit, so feel free to experiment and put whatever your heart desires inside.

Muffins prepared in this way will be excellent for breakfast or dinner, as well as for various gatherings. It is especially good that their dough remains soft the next day, so you can eat them cold or reheat them, as you like. Only, in that case, make enough of them because they are so delicious that they disappear in an instant and don’t even last until the next day.
