Spartacus Cake
Ingredients
- 70 grams Butter
- 4 tablespoons Flour
- 3 tablespoons Cocoa
- 3 tablespoons Honey
- Sugar 1 cup, if you don't like very sweet things, you can give less
- 1 tablespoon Soda
- 1 egg
- 8 tablespoons milk
- For Cream:
- Butter 350 grams
- Powdered sugar 1.5 cups
- Lemon 1 pc
- Milk 500 ml
- 2 eggs
- Flour 3 tablespoons
Instructions
Mix 4 tablespoons flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, and 1 tablespoon of soda.
Separately mix 8 tablespoons of milk, 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 egg, and add 70g of butter.
Place in a water bath and cook until the sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and cool slightly (dough should remain warm).
As soon as the dough cools down a little, mix it with flour, cocoa, and soda.
Knead the dough (the dough is not stiff).
Divide the dough into 10-11 parts. I got 15, I left one for the breadcrumbs.
Roll out the cakes thinly and immediately cut them under a round plate.
Transfer to a baking sheet carefully (using a rolling pin), because the cakes are thin.
Bake all the cakes.
- For Cream:
Mix 500 ml of milk, 2 eggs, and 3 tablespoons of flour.
Place in a water bath and, stirring continuously, cook until the mass begins to thicken.
Remove from heat and cool.
Beat 350 grams of butter until white, and gradually add powdered sugar.
Add grated lemon and gradually the custard mass one spoon at a time.
Spread the cakes and decorate as desired.
Overnight, the cake becomes soft and delicious, you can't put it down!
Enjoy!
